Who I am

This website belongs to Wendy Speed, a civil celebrant ("Where Memories Matter"). You can contact me at the email address in the footer of this website. I am responsible for the personal information you share through this site.

What I collect

When you use the enquiry form I receive your name, email address, the type of ceremony you are asking about, and anything you write in the message box. I use it only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss a ceremony with you.

How it is stored

Your enquiry is emailed to me and a copy is kept in a protected area of this website so that nothing is lost. I keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, if you book, for as long as I need the details to deliver and record the ceremony. You can ask me to delete your details at any time.

Who sees it

Only me and the companies that run this website and its email (my web host, IONOS, and my email provider). I do not sell your information or use it for marketing without asking you first.

Cookies and other services

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your device contacts Google's servers when you visit the page. If I add website statistics later, I will update this page.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how I use it. Email me and I will respond within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
